Hollywood old hand Dean Stockwell plays Brother Cavell in the season two finale episodes of Battlestar Galactica - 'Lay Down Your Burdens'. The rumor mill has Caprica Six and the original Galactica Sharon offering the fleet the olive branch following the discovery of a habitable planet - however its a peace with thorns.
The thorns - the fleet has to give up its polytheistic ways and accept the cylon god - and once a year surrender a number of 'volunteers' to assist the cylons in their interbreeding programme. Throw a presidential election with Roslin vs. Baltar, and a gang-raped number six with a nuke to play with and you're promised a fantastic 2.5 episodes (the second half is 90 mins).
Ron Moore had mentioned in the "The Captain's Hand" podcast that Apollo will captain the Pegasus for some time - so we can almost throw away the thought of loosing the modern battlestar anytime soon.
