Fish. Appropriately tanked they can provide hours of boundless relaxation watching them float, live, eat, blink...and ... erm...!
Let's face it, fish are pretty damn boring! Swimming in endless circles while forgetting things - where's the audience appeal in that?
So rather than let them live out their lives in the equivalent of an aquatic 'Big Brother', some fricking genius has taken inspiration from the Roman Colosseum's of old and introduced combat to their realm.
Introducing the Piranhaz - R/C Battle Fish (yes... fish with fricking lasers!)
Small, armed and remote controlled, these toys can be dunked into your fish tank, fish pond, ocean of choice and let wage war on your friends, enemies or innocent fish of your choice. Should you engage in r/c fish-on-fish combat the rules of the game are simple - hit your opponent three times with your laser and watch him die (floating to the surface in the process)...
Or at least that was the dream...
The piranhaz R/C battle fish was nothing but a cruel April fool's joke from the guys at thinkgeek. Still, for one fleeting moment we got a glimpse of what might have been ...
