Working on making backpage pretty atm. I've been looking at a number of other content management systems (why do they all look the same?), and borrowing small beats from them. The login screen has had a small makeover (a 'remember me' checkbox and a graphical facial), the status screen now serves as an introduction screen to the system, displaying currrent status and activity, a list of available plugins to the current user and the modules serving end-users on the front-end. There are also a number of small but useful tweaks to the main UI.
The main thrust of todays efforts are still aimed at bringing closure to a number of projects... getting there...
In the News
Rukkus has twigged me on the race-hate charges brought up against Nick Griffin, leader of the British National Party. What was he thinking when he said:
"It hasn't worked, this multiracial experiment, and now we want a debate about how we're going to reverse it..."
On the Battlestar Galactica front
Interesting twist in the battlestar sage with the logline for Friday's episode - a dying Roslin orders the abortion of Boomer's baby...
The AyePod ;)
An e.mail from Janine McLean got an amused grunt from me this evening (and today that takes doing!) - check out the AyePod:
